But the real novelty with the Volvo EX30 is its eco-responsible design: almost a quarter of its aluminum and 17% of its steel come from recycled materials. The same applies to plastics, 17% of which are recycled. 

In short, the new Volvo EX30 is a truly electric urban SUV, designed with the aim of reducing costs and carbon footprint.

Question 1: What are the dimensions of the Volvo EX30?

The Volvo EX30 is a vehicle designed for the city, with compact dimensions that make it easy to use in urban environments. It is 4.23 meters long, 21 centimeters shorter than the Volvo XC40, while offering optimized interior space thanks to the position of the batteries under the floor and the absence of a transmission tunnel.

In terms of width, it's 1.83 metres, ensuring good stability on the roads, even in Quebec. In terms of height, it reaches 1.55 meters, and its 2.65-meter wheelbase helps maximize available cabin space, without detracting from its compact silhouette.

In the rear, passengers benefit from 821 mm of legroom and 974 mm of headroom, ensuring comfort even for tall people.

For luggage, the trunk offers a volume of 318 liters in conventional configuration. By folding the rear seats in a 60/40 ratio, you can reach up to 904 liters of cargo capacity. What's more, a small 7-liter storage space is available at the front for items such as the charging cable.

Plus Trim : It offers a choice of two engines, and adds several comfort features, such as a panoramic roof, dual-zone air conditioning and Park Assist with front and rear cameras. Prices start at $56,900 for the Single Motor version, and $59,100 for the Twin Motor version.


Ultra Trim: The Ultra version represents the most complete model, with all options included. Prices start at $59,900 for the Single Motor version, and $62,100 for the Twin Motor version.


Is there a government rebate?

Despite the tax on vehicles imported from China, the Volvo EX30 2025 is eligible for government rebates. In Quebec, you can get up to $12,000 off if you order before the end of 2024.
