Want to drive a Volvo XC60 like no other?
We've just unveiled a limited Black Edition variant of the Volvo XC60 SUV. It will be available soon, and will enable you to drive in a vehicle equipped with the brand's top-of-the-range features.
We’ll explain it all!
What makes the Volvo XC60 Black Edition unique?
First of all, it doesn't get much bolder than black: from the Onyx Black color, to the 21' wheels (exclusive to the model), the fittings (window surrounds, logo, etc.) and the Nappa/Tissu leather sports seats, the Volvo XC60 Black Edition will delight fans of this color.
Also, this edition is based on the Ultimate version, which is the top-of-the-range Volvo XC60. As a result, you benefit from all the comfort and safety features offered by this version.
As for the interior, you can choose between Charcoal ventilated Nappa leather or Nappa leather/similar leather/textile sports seats.
What engines are available?
For the Volvo XC60 Black Edition, two engines are available.
First of all, the B5 AWD powertrain, which uses the Volvo Cars Group's light hybrid technology. Introduced on all our models since 2023, it enables the Volvo XC60 Black Edition to combine a 247hp petrol engine with a 48v electric motor.
As a result, your Volvo reduces carbon dioxide emissions, improves average fuel consumption and delivers enhanced performance.
Last but not least, the iconic plug-in hybrid version is also available for customers wishing to make short electric journeys.
As a reminder, the T8 powertrain combines a 312 hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 143 hp electric motor. Thanks to the 18.8 kWh high-voltage battery, drivers can achieve a range of up to 58 km on a full charge cycle.
